SU 10004 represents a darker, more compact sandy fill located in the eastern half of trench 10000. SU 10004 gave way to a layer of smallish fist sized chunks of tile and stones, though the soil matrix remained otherwise the same.
Upon excavating SU 10004, we found some degraded blue plastic in the middle of the trench, confirming that it had modern contamination.
