SU 10016 represents an orangey, packed soil that was clearly differentiated from the loose, dark brown fill (SU 10012) overlying it. SU 10016 possessed a material matrix similar to that of SU 10011, as it contained large amounts of ceramic and bone. While excavating, SU 10016 became looser again, but after we excavated a further 20-30 cm we encountered another packed surface within SU 10016.
SU 10016 seems to be another sort of (leveling?) fill though it is difficult to say for certain since the area encompassing SU 10016 was quite small.
