SU 10013 was originally meant to represent the soil above the presumed surface of the room, but after we realized that we had accidentally dug under/through a degraded portion of the surface in the eastern end of the room, we opened SU 10013 to excavate the soil above the surface properly. SU 10013 was the thin level directly above the black surface level SU 10014. One tile fragment was removed in SU 10013, which had partially fallen through the surface. Because we had gotten closer to this surface level than we realized, SU 10013 consisted of only one bucket, and can probably be equated with SU 10007 above it.
